There is great reading in: "An Account of the Transactions in America during the last Campaign" which is very good on George Washington & General Howe in New Jersey and the Chesapeake area. A report from Annapolis that Gen. Howe made propositions of peace in Congress. Other American items as well.
Lacking the plate called for.
