Top of the front page has column heads: "EIGHT MEN LYNCHED" "Notorious Desperadoes Summarily Disposed Of In Texas" "An Exasperated Community Compelled to Take the Law in Their Own Hands--A Story of Crime and Punishment".
An uncommonly lengthy & very detailed account of this lynching at the "hanging tree of Orange, Texas".
The front page also has a report: "Pursuing The Indians" "A Fight in Which the Hostiles Were Routed--The Killed & Wounded".
Complete in 8 pages, mostly loose at the spine, chipping at the margins with some margin tears, a report at the very top of the front leaf.
