THE RICHMOND WEEKLY ENQUIRER, Virginia, Jan. 9, 1861  Frcom what would become the Confederate capital shortly before the outbreak of the Civil War.
The front page includes: "Alabama for Immediate Secession" "Dissolution is Inevitable--Is a Reconstruction Possible?" "South Carolina Sovereign Convention" "Shall Our Great & Glorious Union Follow the Beaten Road of all Republics?" "Lincoln's Inauguration" and more.
Of very special note are the two back page illustrations showing the; "Harbor of Charleston, South Carolina, Showing The Forts, City, etc." with related text. Also a small print of "Fort Moultrie".
Four pages, large folio size, minor wear, good condition. Folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
