Women's suffrage in 1917...

Item # 682216

June 20, 1917

EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, June 20, 1917

* Fight for Women's Suffrage
* Disorder at the White House
* Demonstration - Picketing - Rioting
* Dora Lewis & Lucy Burns

The front page has a nice banner headline in red lettering: "NEAR RIOTING AT WHITE HOUSE" with subhead. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper. Rare as such.
Complete with 12 pages, small library stamp within the masthead, small light stain with two tiny holes from where a address label was removed within headline, generally very nice.
