The front page has an article headed: "Desperate Lynchers" "A Horse Thief Hanged in the Midst of A Riot". The article begins: "...from Bloomington, Ill., give graphic details of the lynching there last night of Charles Pierce, the imprisoned horse thief, who shot & killed jailor Franks while the latter was conveying him from one cell to another...some of the best citizens were in the front ranks of the lynchers..." with graphic detail.
Also on the ftpg: "Grief For Garfield" with detail, and: "Sitting Bull - His Journey to Sherman - The Warrior Meek and Subdued".
Eight pages, irregular & mostly loose at the spine, margin tears, quite fragile & must be handled carefully.
