THE SHERIDAN POST, Wyoming, July 19, 1904
* Outlaw Kid Curry - Harvey Logan
* Wild Bunch - Hole-in-the-Wall Gang
The front page has over a full column taken up with: " 'Kid' Curry Not Dead" "Thoughts too Have Been the Man Killed After Hold-up of Rio Grande Train July 19th".
Kid Curry was a member of the 'Wild Bunch" of outlaws, even mentioned in this article: "...Harry Logan [Curry's real name] was a member of the famous 'Wild Bunch' band of outlaws. They robbed the Butte county bank..." with more of their crimes listed.
Further on is: "...associated with all the daredevil leaders in train robberies in the west and south-west for years having been the partner of such men as 'Butch' Cassidy, Harry Longbaugh [known as the Sundance Kid], Bob Lee..." with more listed.
This is one of the better and more detailed articles on not just Kid Curry but the Wild Bunch we have seen.
Four pages small posting holes at the blank spine, very nice condition.
