BOSTON MORNING JOURNAL, July 3, 1863 Page 2 has nearly a full column of reporting on the events of day 2 of the Battle of Gettysburg. The top of column is headed: "The Battle of Gettysburg" "Detailed Account of the Contest" "Obdurate and Successful Gallantry of our Troops" "The enemy Repulsed" "Gen. Meade's Whole Army on the Field".
Also on page 2 is a report headed: "The Rebel Invasion" and page 4 has related articles such as: "The Campaign in Pennsylvania - Movements of the Enemy" "The Battle at Carlisle - Further Particulars". There is also an editorial: "The Invasion".
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, some wear at the margins and the fold, large folio size. The folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
