Page 6 has a very nice, and uncommonly lengthy report headed: "The Dalton Gang Wiped Out" "A Desperate Battle In Kansas" "Five Bandits and Four Citizens" with subheads: "Killed in an Encounter at Coffeyville--The Gang Attempted to Rob Two Banks--The City Marshal Among the Dead".
The full text of the article, which takes over half a column, is shown in the photos, with the report beginning: "The Dalton gang has been exterminated. Six of the gang rode into Coffeyville, Kan., yesterday morning & robbed the two banks of the place..." with much more.
Complete in 10 pages however the issue is very fragile with browning, considerable chipping at the margins, all leaves loose at the spine. Fortunately none of the tears affect the Dalton Gang report, but still a "2nd rate" issue.
