FARMER'S MUSEUM, OR LITERARY GAZETTE, Walpole, New Hampshire, Dec. 15, 1801  Page 3 contains a brief report concerning the death by duel of Philip Hamilton, son of Alexander Hamilton: "The citizens of New York appear to take great interest in the late duel between Capt. Eacker and Mr. Hamilton. Statements of considerable length have been published with respect to the cause of the dispute, that the public might regard the affair in a favorable light."
Four pages, a small wear slit near the top of the front leaf, some foxing, never-trimmed margins.
