TELEGRAPH BULLETIN ! , Concord, (New Hampshire), June 3, 1861 A small broadside (printed on one side only) with the "LATEST NEWS!" as printed above the dateline.
Most of the first column is taken up with heads including: "Death of Senator Douglas" "Jeff. Davis Visits Harper's Ferry" "Large Arrival of Powder At Harper's Ferry" "Fairfax Occupied by Federal Troops" "Manufacturing of Arms at Baltimore for the Rebel Army" "Maine Picket Guard Shot" "Col. Fremont Returns with a Large supply of Arms" with the balance of the front page providing limited details on these events.
The back side is entirely blank. A great "Bulletin" issued to get the latest war news to the towns people as the printing time is listed as "5 o'clock, P.M." Measures 6 1/4 by 10 inches and in great condition.
