Page 3 has a letter from New York beginning: "The rebels have been assured by the French that they hare to have no more pecuniary assistance from that quarter...The rebels had some small resource left in their trade..." and a bit more.
The bkpg. has an item: "It is said that General Washington has determined to oppose all overtures from this country on the subject of negotiating a separate peace with America; but that he speaks in terms of the highest respect of the new administration, and laments that they did not come into power before America had contracted alliances to which both honour and her interest will compel her strictly to adhere."
Four pages, nice condition.
