* Rare anti-slavery publication

This is the famous anti-slavery newspaper by famed abolitionist publisher William Lloyd Garrison. The masthead features two engravings, one of a slave auction and the other showing slaves being emancipated.
Much of the issue is taken up with reports from the: "American Anti-Slavery Society". Other bits relating to slavery from just at the end of the Civil War including: "The Arrest of Jeff. Davis". The bkpg. has an interesting bit: "Strange Story of Mr. Lincoln" concerning a prediction he would not live out his second term.
Four pages, various fold creases and wear at folds with some wear holes art fold junctures, minor tears at the margins.
