1903 Hanna, Wyoming mine explosion disaster...

Item # 679308

June 30, 1903

THE EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, California, June 30, 1903

* Hanna, Carbon County, Wyoming
* Coal mine tunnel explosion disaster

 The top of the front page has a three column headline: "OVER TWO HUNDRED MINERS IMPRISONED" with subhead. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 6 pages, two small library stamps within the masthead, irregular along the spine, generally nice.
