Page 2 has a nice account of the infamous Big Springs train robbery.
This was a robbery of a Union Pacific train near present-day Big Springs, Nebraska on the day prior to this report. The robbery was perpetrated by a gang of six outlaws led by Sam Bass.
It is headed: "The Overland Train Robbed--The Express Robbed of $75,000". The report notes the details. At the time it was not yet known that Sam Bass was the leader.
