* President George Washington
The front page has an interesting "portraiture" of the President, George Washington, which describes his temperament, etc. It begins: "With cool feelings and unambitious talents, he excited universal popularity and attained brilliant glory...".
Page 2 has a note of support for Paul Revere: "As a man well calculated to supply the place of the late town treasurer, I would wish to introduce to the public, Col. PAUL REVERE, who as a long tried servant of the public, in trying times, as an active, useful citizen, and one acquainted with all the affairs of the town, must give general satisfaction."
Four pages, minor foxing, good condition.
