Page 3 has a wonderful article on the newly invented telegraph, headed: "Morse's Magnetic Telegraph" and which begins: "We annex an article...relative to this wonderful discovery. It transmits information from this city to Baltimore and back again, a distance of 80 miles, almost instantaneously, and quicker than two persons standing three feet apart can make their voices reach each other..." with much more on this new invention.
Also on page 3 is: "Election Returns -- Electoral Elections Already Decided" showing the count by state, and with Polk in the lead.
Four pages, good condition.
