BELL'S WEEKLY MESSENGER, London, June 19, 1814

* Treaty of Fontainebleau (1814)
* Napoleon Bonaparte's exile to Elba
* End of his rule as Emperor of France

 A quite historic issue as a full column on page 6--one-third of the page--is taken up with the Treaty of Fountainbleau, ending Napoleon's reign of Emperor of France, and banishing him to the island of Elba.
It is headed: "Bonaparte" "Articles of the Treaty 'Between the Allied Powers and His Majesty the Emperor Napoleon". Among the 21 Articles of the treaty is the third beginning: "The isle of Elba, adopted by his Majesty the Emperor Napoleon as the place of his residence..." with more.
It concludes with the signatures of the various parties of the treaty. Great to have this in a British newspaper.
Eight pages, 10 1/2 by 15 1/2 inches, nice condition.
