Item # 676750
August 01, 1910
THE EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, Aug. 1, 1910
* Dr. Hawley Harvey Crippen - wife's murder case
* 1st ever suspect to be captured w/ wireless telegraphy
* Victim Belle Elmore - Cora Henrietta Crippen
The top of the front page has a banner heading: "Crippen And Girl Caught; Doctor Is Arraigned At Quebec" with subhead that include: "DR. CRIPPEN ARRAIGNED; GIRL ILL IN BED" and more. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 12 pages, small library stamps within the masthead affecting headline, some small binding holes along the spine, generally nice.
