1912 Titanic disaster investigations...
Item # 676561
May 02, 1912
THE EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, May 2, 1912
* re. RMS Titanic Sinking disaster
* Lifeboats becoming more of a priority
* Investigations continue
The front page has a three column pictorial with heading: "Lifeboat Drills Now the Regular Thing on Trans-Atlantic Liners" with subhead. Also a one column heading: "INQUIRY INTO BIG WRECK BEGUN IN ENGLAND" with subheads. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 14 pages, two small, lightly inked library stamps within the masthead, a little irregular along the spine, generally nice.
