Battle of Bull Run...

Item # 676339

July 24, 1861

NEW YORK DAILY TRIBUNE, July 24, 1861  Page 4 has some nice one column headlines on the first major battle of the Civil War, including: "THE GREAT BATTLE" "Additional Details" "The Panic Wearing Away" "Our Losses Greatly Exaggerated" "Preparations for Another Fight" "Vigorous Action by the Government" "The Killed and Wounded".
And page 5 has: "Partial List of the Killed And Wounded" and "The Battle at Bull's Run" "Movements of the Rebels" and more. This text on Bull Run takes much of pages 4 & 5 with even further reporting on page 6.
Much great text on this significant Civil War battle.
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, very nice condition.
