NEW YORK HERALD, April 7, 1865  The ftpg. features a very nice Civil War map headed: "THE HEADING OFF OF LEE'S ARMY. Scene of the Rebel General Lee's Last Struggle--The Line of Pursuit of the Union Forces."
Among the many first column heads are: "GRANT" "The Enemy Headed Off by Sheridan" "Probable Destruction of Lee's Army" "Gen. Sheridan Confident of Taking the Whole Army of Northern Virginia" "The President In Petersburg"  more.
Additional war reports on the inside. Page 5 has a war map headed: "The Fighting at Mobile".
Eight pages, binding slits at the spine, nice condition.
