WEEKLY AURORA, Philadelphia Aug. 15, 1815

* Battle of Waterloo w/ diagram (rare)
* Duke of Wellington vs.Napoleon I

Concerning the famous Battle of Waterloo, the second page of this issue has a detailed report headed: "French Account Of The Battle."
The report takes about 1 1/2 columns on the second page and continues on next where, is a 6 1/4 by 2 3/4 inch diagram showing the military positions of the battle.
After this report are the proceedings of the French Parliament, which conclude on the next pg., followed by another report: "Bonaparte Has No Longer An Army!"
     Related content on the front page includes: "The Abdication Certain" followed by a "Declaration to the French People" signed in type: Napoleon, that states, in part: "...My Political Life Is Ended; and I proclaim my son, under the title of Napoleon II emperor of France... ".
Eight pages, 15 by 11 inches, some foxing, wide, never-trimmed margins. Quite uncommon to have a diagram of the famous Battle of Waterloo.
