Page 2 has a very notable yet inconspicuous report on the creation of Sequoia National Park.
Under the heading: "General Washington News" is a subhead: "The 'Big Trees' National Park" with the text noting: "Secretary Noble has promulgated rules & regulations for the government of the park in Tulare county, California, containing the mammoth or 'Sequia Giantea' trees, created by the act of Congress approved September 25, 1890. The Secretary christens the new park as 'The Sequoia National Park'...".
Eight pages, irregular & partially loose at the spine, evenly toned, rather fragile & should be handled carefully.
