Although the front page and pages within contain various reports on the Civil War and other events across the country and the world, perhaps the most intriguing item in this newspaper is an inconspicuous advertisement for a theatrical performance at Mary Provost's Theatre on page 7.
A one night performance was set for March 31st for "...In his great masterpiece, RICHARD III..." A very curious advertisement featuring a famous name before he would become famous (or infamous).
Eight pages, a little margin wear, generally in good condition.
