NEW YORK HERALD, April 6, 1865  Over half of the first column of the front page is taken up with heads on the closing days of the Civil War, including: "RICHMOND" "Interesting Details of the Occupation of the Rebel Capital" "Scattering Of The Rebels" "Jeff. Davis Taken the Rail for Danville" "Mrs. General Lee Remains in Town" "One-third of the City Burned" "President Lincoln in Richmond on Tuesday" "Hot Pursuit of Lee's Forces" and much more.
The entire front page & some of the inside pages are taken up with Civil War reports from the final days of battle.
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, a crease at the central fold, printing error & minor margin loss to an inside leaf, generally good.
