SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, New York, Sept. 20, 1851 This issue contains several illustrations from the latest inventions of the day. These illustrations include, front and back page illustrations titled "The Fire Annihilator" and "Barnhill's Patent Seed Planter".
The inside pages have never been cut and show an interesting illustration of the "Patent Office Department".
