This is a very significant issue in Judaica history and the story of the Holocaust. The front page has a three line, three column head concerning the attacks on Jewish folks in Germany known as Kristallnacht: "Nazis Warn Foreign Press 'Lies' Will Hurt Reich Jews; Arrests Run To Thousands" & one column subheads: "No Regret Voiced" "Goebbels Declares That The Nation Followed Its 'Healthy Instincts" "Shop Plundering Denied" "Outburst Held 'Spontaneous'---Press Warns the British Commons to Shun Issue".
There is a related report with a two line, two column head: "Dewey and Smith Lead Protest Here Against Anti-Semitic Riots in Reich" & subhead: "Prosecutor Scores 'Savagery of Barbarism'--Ex-Governor Sees Peril to Civilization--Rector Gives Warning".
