The top of the front page has a one column heading: "Jew, 17, Shoots Reich Agent In Paris Office" with subhead. (see) First report coverage on the shooting of Ernst vom Rath by Herschel Grynszpan . He would die the following day. This was used as the excuse for the Nazi Kristallnacht (night of broken glass) the next few days.
