THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Sept. 10, 1782

Most of page 4 is taken up with an: "Account of the Life & Military Service of the Count De Grasse" including his actions in support of the colonists during the closing months of the Revolutionary War. There is mention of the the capture of Yorktown, etc.
Page 5 has an account of an attempted mutiny on the ship Narcissus. Also: "An Account of the Capture of his Majesty's sloop the General Monk, on the 8th of April Last, in Delaware Bay, by the Rebel Ship Ryder Aily" with much detail.
The bkpg. mentions that several colonies: "...have entirely disapproved of the mode adopted by the Congress for continuing the war with the assistance of the French troops..." with much more on this.
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, 9 by 12 inches, very nice condition.
