The masthead notes: "Devoted To The Interests Of The Pioneers of California And the Resources of the Golden State." The masthead is one of the more graphic we ave seen featuring three vignettes, one of settlers traveling, one of a bear, and another of a detailed mining scene.
This title is not recorded in Gregory's "Union List of Newspapers".
Four pages, evenly toned, some minor tears at margins. Generally good condition but a bit fragile so it should be handled carefully.
