Item # 673364 GENTLEMAN'S MAGAZINE, London, April, 1790  Among the articles are: "The Importance, and the Neglect, of Veterinary Medicine"; a list of: "Eminent Physicians who have Been Regimental Surgeons". Near the back is much on an: "Accurate Statement of the Late Revolution in France" taking several pages.
Included are 2 of the 3 plates called for which include a large foldout of: "Risge's Patent Drill and Hoe Plough".
Complete in 88 pages, full title/contents page with an engraving of St. John's Gate, 5 by 8 inches, good condition.

This was the first periodical to use the word "magazine" in its title, having begun in 1731 and lasting until 1907.
