January 11, 1917

THE GREENSBORO PATRIOT, North Carolina, Jan. 11, 1917

* Buffalo Bill death
* William Cody

The top of a front page column has reports datelined from Denver: "Buffalo Bill's Life Like The Hour Glass" with the text beginning: "Colonel William F. Cody, (Buffalo Bill) is dying in Denver tonight..." with more. But this report is followed by an update: "Buffalo Bill Died Yesterday" which begins: "Colonel William Frederick Cody (Buffalo Bill), soldier, hunter and scout, died at 12:05 P.M., here today at the home of his sister..." with more.
Eight pages, small binding holes at the blank spine, light toning at the margins, generally nice.
