The front page of section C (sports) has a headline: "Lakers Still Kidding Around" with subhead: "Bryant becomes youngest player in NBA history..." and photo showing Shaq shooting a sky hook. (see) First report coverage continues on page 11 of this section with smaller photo showing Bryant. This was Bryant's very first regular season NBA game played and O'Neal's first game as a Laker. Great to have in this Los Angeles publication, very rare as such. This game was played at the Forum.
