ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH--PICTURES, Oct. 2, 1938 This is a 20 page pictorial section from this famous newspaper. One-quarter of the front page shows Adolph Hitler captioned: "Why Hitler Rose To Power" and inside has a two page spread headed: "The 'Peace That Spawned Hitler" with more. This is a photo essay of his life, including photos of his parents, himself when a child, etc.
Unusual to find such extensive coverage of Hitler from this early, pre-war period. Small binding holes at the blank spine, good condition.
