HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, Sept. 24, 1859 The front page features a text article with 2 illustrations on 'Transatlantic Ballooning' showing 'Professor C. Lowe' and the 'Interior of the Balloon Basket' plus inside the issue is a full page illustration of: 'The New Air Ship City of New York'. The doublepage centerfold is by Winslow Homer and is entitled 'The Grand Review at Camp Massachusetts, Near Concord, September 9, 1859'. Two views of the famous ship 'The Great Eastern', one being an interior scene. This issue also contains a serialized portion of "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens.
Sixteen pages, some toning, mostly near the margins, untrimmed margins, generally good.
