The entire front page is taken up with an excellent account of the Battle of the Cedars in Canada which happened just a few months earlier, part of an inquiry of it by Congress which includes many "Resolves" signed in type on pg. 2 by: John Hancock. Page 2 continues with war content including a report from Williamsburg, as well as: "A Letter dated 23d July, at Fort Montgomery...".
Some war content on pg. 2, and the back page has two documents form Congress signed in type by: John Hancock, one of which is: "...directed to exchange any officer in the British service (now a prisoner in any of these States), of or under the rank of colonel, for Colonel Ethan Allen." (see)
Four pages, a name penned in the right margin, nice condition.
