NEW YORK TIMES, Dec. 20, 1864  Among the front page first column heads on the Civil War are: "The Union Captives" "Additional Names of the Martyred Dead" "The Victims at Andersonville and Florence" "Calm Protest of the Officers Penned at Columbus, S.C." "A Frightful Bill of Grievances" "A Heavy Blow at Gen. Hardee with a Gloved Hand". The front page also has much on: "The Pennsylvania Oil Regions".
Included is the "Supplement" issue with ftpg. war heads: "The Great March" "Review of Gen. Sherman's Georgia Campaign" "From Atlanta to the Atlantic" "Skirmishes & Incidents on the March" "The Pursuit of Hood Continued" and more.
Twelve pages with the Supplement, good condition.
