SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE, California, April 16, 1912  A great issue on the sinking of the Titanic with banner headline: "GIGANTIC LINER TITANIC SINKS; 1500 LOST OF 2200 SOULS ABOARD ONLY 866 ARE RESCUED" "Women and Children Placed in Life Boats Are Picked Up" with additional subheads.
And graphically a great issue, with a photo of the Titanic and two interior photos, a photo of "Capt. E. J. Smith of the Titanic" and two illustrations.
Reporting and additional photos are on pages 2, 3 & 4 as well including a: "Full List Of Passengers On the Lost Liner Titanic".
Complete in 18 pages, some chipping loss at the right margin of the front leaf affecting a few names on the page 2 passenger list, some older archival mends on page 2, rejoined at the spine. In general, as the photos show, in good condition and one of the more displayable issues we have offered.
