NEW YORK TRIBUNE, March 4, 1861  This was the day Lincoln was inaugurated, and there is much content within on Lincoln, the new administration, the Republican platform, and more.
Page 4 has a lengthy editorial headed: "March 4th, 1861" which begins: "At length we greet the long-expected day, Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin will, ere night, be inaugurated President and Vice President of the United States..." with much more.
Included as well is the lengthy: "Republican National Platform Adopted at Chicago, 1860". And page 5 has much on: "The New Cabinet" plus comments on the  coming inaugural address, The inauguration ball, visitors to the Capital, and much more. Then also: "The Policy of the New Administration" and various reports from the Confederate Congress.
Page 3 has an interesting account: "Rescue of a Fugitive Slave" with details.
Eight pages, water staining to most of the issue but causing no loss of readability. Otherwise in good condition.
