THE SATURDAY EVENING POST, Philadelphia, Aug. 16, 1862 A desired yet rather scarce title from during the Civil War, as the front page occasionally featured a Harper's Weekly-like Civil War print.
This issue features on the ftpg: "Thirteen Inch Shell Mortar, as Used by the U.S. Government..." with some detail. Various war reporting inside including: "The President's Speech" and more. The bkpg. has a cartoon: "Delicate Way Of Putting It."
