Page 2 has a report from Alexandria noting: "...arrived in town, on his way to the seat of the federal government, his excellency lieutenant general GEORGE WASHINGTON accompanied by his secretary colonel Lear..." with more on his arrival. Then a report from Georgetown: "Lieutenant general WASHINGTON arrived on the Virginia shore of the Potomac yesterday..." with more as well.
