Front page article on the Custer massacre---with a map...

THE WORLD, New York, July 7, 1876 Fine front page coverage of the Custer massacre which included a column-wide map described in the text headed: "The Battle-Ground" and reading: "The following map of the Big Horn region of Montana and Wyoming presents in sufficient detail for the purposes of the reader, the scene of the recent battles between the Indians and Custer on the Little Big Horn and the Indians and Crook on the Rosebud:"
The first column has heads: "CUSTER'S DEATH" "The News Of The Indian Butchery Confirmed" "Universal Expression of Grief and Indignation" "Sketch of General Custer's Life and of the Indian Troubles".
This text takes 5 of the 6 ftpg. columns and continues on pages 5.
Eight pages, a diagonal crease through the articles does not cause loss of readability, a few minor margin tears, good condition but should be handled carefully.
