A great issue concerning Mormon history has page 3 has a nearly full column article headed: "State Of Deseret" with much on their efforts to gain statehood from the U.S. government. Included are various items in their proposed Constitution which they will submit. The name of the state is to be Deseret.
A wealth of fine, early Mormon material. They would not gain statehood until 1896, largely because of the polygamy issue.
Four pages, very nice condition.
