Page 3 has a nice letter from a Mormon newspaper: "From The Valley of the Salt Lake" which includes: "News from the Valley is quite encouraging. The crickets entirely disappear where fowls & swine are permitted to range...The health of the citizens there was good...About 12,000 or 15,000 California emigrants passed through the alley...Many of the Californians had been baptized...No difficulty occurred between our people & the California emigrants & the Indians are all friendly..." with much more.
Four pages, very nice condition.
