Inside has a report headed: "Mexico" which begins: "The direct news from Mexico...is that the whole kingdom has declared independence & sworn to maintain it...A provisional government is in operation & in the latter part of the month of December delegates to a general convention were appointed in all provinces to meet in Mexico to form a constitution..." with more.
The front page has an article headed: "Thomas Jefferson" carrying over to page 2 where is a letter signed by him: Th. Jefferson, datelined from Monticello, Jan. 26, 1822.
Includes a: "Law of the United States" is: "An act to revive & continue in force an act entitled 'An act to provide for persons who were disabled by known wounds received in the revolutionary war." signed in type: James Monroe.
The bkpg. has a short report noting that: "The legislature of Missouri have named the permanent seat of government of the state the City of Jefferson, in honor of Thomas Jefferson, under whose presidency the territory, which forms the present state of Missouri, was added to the union."
Sixteen pages, 6 by 9 1/2 inches, very nice condition.

As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
