THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, Sept. 15, 1707

* Anne, Queen of Great Britain and Ireland
* England & Scotland united into single sovereign state

The front page begins with a very notable document, headed: "By The Queen, A PROCLAMATION" calling for: "...our first Parliament of Great Britain...at our city of Westminster on Thursday the twenty-third day of October next..." with further particulars.
This was the very first session of Parliament of the newly-created Parliament of Great Britain which history does tell us was held on October 23. The union of England and Scotland was official several months previous by the ratification of the Acts of Union involving both England and Scotland.
