Page 3 has over 1 1/2 columns taken up with a wealth of detailed reporting on what is known as the Taos Revolt, an insurrection against the Americans for their occupation of Northern New Mexico. The governor, among others, was murdered.
Also: "The March of the Mormon Battalion" which reports on the Mormons on their way to California. It begins: "We are now about 350 miles from Santa Fe, on our way to California...We find water scarce, and prospects still worse ahead..." with much more.
Four pages, very nice condition.
