NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Jan. 10, 1832 Page 3 has an article headed: "Free Negroes" which is a plan to remove them, with several "Resolves" including: "That it is expedient...with their assent, to remove the Free Negroes and Mulattoes, from this Commonwealth. Resolved, That the colony now established at Liberia on the coast of Africa, presents the most desirable territory to which the said Free Negroes and Mulattoes shall be transported..." with more.
Four pages, very nice condition.
