DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., April 8, 1857 Page 2 has a report: "Central Park" which gives a description of it during its creation. Work on Central Park began in 1857 and it was opened to the public in late 1858.
Also on pg. 2: "Woman's Rights" has interesting reading. It begins: "It seems quite an age--we lie so fast--since the spasm of female determination took place...".
Four pages, minor binding indents at the blank spine, nice condition. Folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
