What could be a better newspaper to have for the end of the War in Europe than from the city where America's entry into the war began?
A large & bold banner head: "GERMANS QUIT" with a banner subhead: "Unconditional Surrender At Eisenhower's Headquarters". In addition to much related text the ftpg. has a photo of "Gen. D.D. Eisenhower, Allied Army Chief" and a map showing Japan noting: "But This Job Remains".
